Starting Point Stables offers horse boarding, private riding lessons, kids community lesson program, and horse / pony training. Our stable is located off Hwy 55 between Angier and Coats, not far from the towns of Dunn, Erwin, Lillington, Benson and Fuquay Varina (north-east Harnett County).

Our riding lesson and horse training programs are a mix of classical dressage principles and sports biomechanics with a workman-like understanding of how the horse behaves in his natural social environment. Our principles lend themselves to sporting or working disciplines;

• Sport-horse show arena disciplines (dressage, show hack and sport horse, jumping)
• Working horse sports (working western such as reining)
• Basics for riding ‘out’ (personal recreational riding, sport or competitive trail riding & endurance riding, versatility riding, lower level eventing, cross-country and foxhunting).

Our horse boarding services are for the responsible horse owner who expects a consistent level of care but does not need excessive pampering. We offer full care, self care and pasture boarding to all breeds and riding disciplines (no stallions).
