Starting Point Stables - Angier, North Carolina

Our stable is located off Hwy 55 between Angier and Coats. Formerly known as "Barnes Paddock", we offer horse boarding, riding lessons and horse / pony training.

Our riding lesson and horse training programs have their base in classical dressage, sports biomechanics and a workman-like understanding of how the horse behaves in his natural social environment. Our principles lend themselves to these various riding sports;

  • sport-horse show arena disciplines (dressage, show hack and sport horse, jumping)
  • working horse sports (working western such as reining)
  • basics for riding 'out' (personal recreational, sport or competitive trail riding & endurance riding, lower level eventing, cross-country and foxhunting)

Our horse boarding services cater to the horse owner who expects a consistent level of care but does not expect or need excessive pampering. We offer full care, self care and pasture boarding to all breeds and riding disciplines (no stallions).

We are also interested in the Sport Pony and the Arabian Sport Horse industry. We currently have some youngstock / green broke ponies for sale.

Technically the farm is located in Angier, however we are closer to Coats. We sugguest you use Google Maps to get directions.
